See Who Has Access to a File (OneDrive or SharePoint)

You can see who a OneDrive for work or school, SharePoint, or Microsoft Teams file or folder has been shared with at any time.

  1. Within your OneDrive or SharePoint site on o365.uthsc.edu, select the file or folder in your document library.

  2. Above the list of files, select Share.
  3. The Share window opens.

  4. A group appears at the bottom left of the Share window if the item is currently shared with other people.

  5. Click the X in the window to close it.
  • Each circular item in the bottom left represents a person or group that the file has been shared with.
  • Hover your mouse over this area to see the Manage access summary of who has access to the file.
  • Click the list to see more details about who can access the file. See Manage access to a file or folder later in this article for more details.
