UTK OIT recently configured a naming policy for Microsoft Teams that adds UT_ before a new group name. This naming convention was done to prevent Group names from conflicting with a NetID. This policy will apply to both new and existing Teams. For existing Teams, this policy will only be noticeable if you edit the name of a current Team after the policy is in place.
