Reply to a Specific Message in a Teams Chat

If you have ever been on a Teams chat with several people posting, you know the thread can get confusing. In this KB, you will learn how to reply to a specific individual so you can clarify what question you are answering.

1. If you aren't there already, you should have the Chat icon on the left selected.
   
2. Find the message to which you want to reply.
3. Click the ... at the end of the pop-up window and choose Reply.
   
4. The comment you are replying to appears within your text box. Type your reply and press Enter, Return, or the Send icon.
