What Is It?
The ITS Project Management Office (PMO) works to support the strategic goals of the university and ITS organization by developing and implementing an effective project portfolio management (PPM) framework. Primary duties include leading projects to successful completion, overseeing the ITS portfolio of projects, defining PPM standards and processes, managing tools and templates, creating training and educational materials, and providing oversight to the project managers and projects across the IT organization.
ITS reviews and prioritizes requests on a monthly basis, usually on the first Wednesday of each month. If your project requires an earlier review due to mandated time sensitivity, security/safety issues, or critical to university mission, please contact Vikki Massey at vmercer@uthsc.edu or 901-448-8040.
