Windows 10 officially reached end of life (EOL) on October 14, 2025. Due to supply chain issues affecting replacement device purchasing, UTHSC is granting a six-month extension to March 13, 2026 for Windows 10 devices to remain on the network. After this date, devices running Windows 10 will no longer be allowed access to the UTHSC network and other resources. A pop up message is scheduled to appear daily on UTHSC devices running Windows 10 with the following info:

ITS is ready to assist by providing a computer inventory report from our asset management database to help identify devices that are incompatible with Windows 11. We can also provide recommendations and quotes for new computer purchases.
To request an ITS computer asset report for your area and/or assistance with the computer replacement process, please submit a service request in TechConnect or reach out to the Service Desk at 901-448-2222.
If you believe that you have a reason to seek exemption to the ITS Security policy requiring all UTHSC computing devices to run a supported operating system, please submit an exemption request at here.
