Change Your Background for a Teams Meeting

You can blur your background in Teams or choose from a Teams background template.

Change the Background Before the Meeting

1. Before you join the meeting, you must make sure your video is turned on.
   
2. Click the Background Filters option and you will see backgrounds on the right.
   
3. Double click the desired background, then click the Join button to join the meeting. 

Change the Background During the Meeting

1. At the top of the screen, click More.
2. Choose Apply Background effects.
3. Click desired background and click the Apply button.
