VoiceMail: From a Non-UTHSC Phone

Check Your Voicemail

1. Call 901.448.1000.
2. Enter your five-digit extension (8-xxxx).
3. Enter your password. Press # or wait.
4. You will be told the number of unread messages and they will begin to play.
5. To skip envelope information (caller ID, etc.), press #.
   1. Press 6 to skip to the next message.
   2. Press 76 to delete a message.
   3. Press 73 to forward a message to another number.
6. Additional commands include:

• 82 to change your greeting
• 83 to log off
• 84 to change your password
• 85 to change distribution list or
• 86 to review your messages

Change Your Password

1. Call 901.448.1000.
2. Enter your five-digit extension (8-xxxx).
3. Enter your password. Press # or wait.
4. Press 84.
5. Follow the prompts to record and save a new password.

Change Your Name Recording

1. Call 901.448.1000.
2. Enter your five-digit extension (8-xxxx).
3. Enter your password. Press # or wait.
4. Press 829.
5. Follow the prompts to record and save a new recording.

Change Your Personal Greeting

1. Call 901.448.1000.
2. Enter your five-digit extension (8-xxxx).
3. Enter your password. Press # or wait.
4. Press 821.
5. Follow the prompts to record and save a new greeting.
