Summary
TechConnect is UTHSC’s IT service management system. It provides a single point of contact for reporting issues, requesting services, and finding answers to technology questions at any time.
Instructions
Use the four main buttons on the left side of the TechConnect home page to access key features:
Report an Problem
- Report problems with your computer, printer, network, telephone, or any other IT-related issue.
- Submitting an issue is quick and easy.
Submit a Request
- Browse all available IT services in the Service Catalog.
- Services are organized by category and are searchable.
- You can read about a service and request it from the same page.
Find Answers
- Visit the Knowledge Base (KB) to find how-to instructions and information.
- Browse by category or view popular and recently added articles.
- Rate and comment on articles to help improve their usefulness.
My Requests
- View your open requests for help or service.
- Update a ticket with new information or cancel it if you no longer need assistance.

- Home: Returns you to the TechConnect home page from anywhere in the portal.
