FileMaker Pro: How to Access the Server

Note: If you are not on campus, log in to VPN first.  If you do not know how to connect to the VPN, visit our VPN webpage for the software, installation instructions, and connection guide. 

  1. Click FileMaker Pro icon.
  2. Click File.
  3. Click Hosts.
  4. Click +.
  5. Type the following: > Click Save.
    1. Host's Internet Address: filemaker.uthsc.edu.
    2. Favorite Host's Name: UTHSC FileMaker Pro Server.
  6. Double click on your database.
  7. Type the following: > Click Sign In.
    1. Account Name: Your NetID.
    2. Password: NetID password.

You have signed into the FileMaker Pro server!
