Body
The following steps will get you Zooming in no time!
It is very important that you download Zoom and log in with your UTHSC credentials rather than use a free account. Your meetings can last longer, have more attendees, and many of the features that don't work with a free Zoom account. You must log in with the SSO option (see step 7) or you will experience issues when using Zoom.
Setup
- Go to https://tennessee.zoom.us.
- Click the Create or Edit Account button.

- Log in with your UTHSC NetID and Password (Duo authentication may be required).
- An account will be provisioned for you automatically.
Download the App
- Go to https://tennessee.zoom.us.
- Click the Download Zoom link at the bottom.

- Zoom automatically downloads the app for you. Locate the download file, double click, the follow the steps to install. If you experience any difficulty, contact the Service Desk at 901.448.2222.
- Once you have completed the installation process, you will see the sign in screen.
- Click on SSO. You may or may not be required to authenticate with Duo.
- The first time you log in using the Desktop application, you will be prompted to enter the SSO URL. You will only need to do this once. Enter https://tennessee.zoom.us and click continue.
- After entering the SSO URL and clicking continue, you are logged in. Once you have logged in, you will now see the main dialog box.
- You can now start a New Meeting, Schedule, or Join a meeting.
