Body

Why did I receive this email?

ITS Records show that your department has multiple computing devices that have fallen out of compliance with UT policy and must be addressed.

What do I need to do?

Please locate the device and provide ITS with current information about each device. For devices actively being used, this article describes how to return the device to a compliant status. Current information should be recorded in the rightmost columns of the spreadsheet provided.

What do I do if I cannot find the device?

If the device is stolen, a report must be made to Campus Police. Inform ITS of any stolen devices to begin this process and update the spreadsheet.

If a device is lost or missing, update the spreadsheet notify ITS to discuss next steps.

Can ITS help? YES!

We may be able to provide additional information about who may have been logged into the device at some point, or perhaps provide details from past tickets, if available.

I submitted a surplus request for this device and no longer have it.

Please provide the relevant details in the rightmost columns of the spreadsheet provided. Additionally, forward any surplus records and/or communications to itassets@uthsc.edu.
