UT Verse is the University of Tennessee’s secure, chat-based generative AI platform, designed to support UT faculty, staff, and students with university-related work. It provides an easy way to collaborate with an advanced AI assistant on writing, summarizing, brainstorming, planning, and problem-solving—tailored for UT’s internal audiences, business needs, and research and academic workflows.
UT Verse Features:
- UT-focused AI assistance: Helps with tasks like drafting and improving content (emails, essays, reports), summarizing documents, generating ideas, and answering questions in a UT-aware context.
- Secure access via UT credentials: Access is managed through UT Microsoft 365 accounts to support identity-based controls.
- Data protection and privacy by design: User prompts and uploaded content are handled in a protected environment intended for internal use.
- Internal use of chat content: Conversations and content are not intended to be shared externally and are not used to train public, consumer AI models.
