Body
We have three options on campus for electronic documents that need signatures. Most will be able to use the free Adobe Fill and Sign, but in some cases, you may need to use Adobe Sign or DocuSign.

When to Use It
Adobe Fill and Sign works for most forms requiring a signature.
It is free with Adobe DC (formerly Adobe Acrobat Pro). With Adobe Fill and Sign, you can create a signature and drag and drop it onto a PDF document.
How to Get It
Faculty and staff can get Adobe DC by following our Adobe Creative Cloud: Instructions for Downloading article.
|
When to Use It
Adobe Sign can be used if a certificate-backed signature is necessary.
How to Get It
Access to Adobe Sign can be requested through our Adobe Sign: Access Request.
Adobe Sign should NOT be used to sign UTHSC finance documents, documents containing HIPAA-protected data, or any documents that need an official UTHSC signature. Use DocuSign instead. To obtain DocuSign, please have your business manager send a request to the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Chief Operating and Financial Officer for approval and setup at mnorri33@uthsc.edu.
|
When to Use It
DocuSign must be used when signing documents for Business and Finance at UTHSC.
How to Get It
Please have your business manager send a request to the Office of Business Contracts (tpitts6@uthsc.edu) for approval and setup.
