Connect UT Equipment to MLH's Citrix Systems

Prerequisites

  • UT-owned Windows or macOS computer

  • MLH network access or external network access that supports Citrix connectivity

Instructions

Citrix Version Requirements

  • macOS 10.15 or newer requires Citrix Workspace 19.10.2.
  • macOS 10.14 or earlier supports Receiver 12.9.1 or 12.8.1.
  • Windows systems support Citrix Receiver versions 4.7 through 4.12.

This configuration works on the Methodist network and on most external networks.

Open Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace

  1. Open Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace from your computer’s applications or program files.
  2. The Citrix configuration window will appear.

Configure Citrix

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.
  2. Go to www.methodistmd.org.
  3. Select oneChart.
  4. Select Connecting to oneChart.
  5. Under the iOS instructions section, download the document titled iPad/iPhone/iOS Instructions.
  6. Locate the configuration URL in the document: https://mobilecx.methodisthealth.org/citrix/pnagent/config.xml Copy this URL.
  7. Return to Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace.
  8. Paste the configuration URL into the appropriate field when prompted.
  9. When the login screen appears, enter your MLH domain credentials using the format Domain\username and your password.
  10. After logging in, select the + icon to add applications.
  11. Select the applications you want to add to your Citrix workspace.
  12. Launch any application to confirm that it opens successfully.

Troubleshooting

  • Verify that you are using the correct Citrix version for your operating system.
  • Ensure the configuration URL is entered exactly as provided.
  • Confirm that your MLH domain credentials are correct.
  • Restart Citrix Receiver or Citrix Workspace if applications do not appear.
  • Try connecting from a different network if external connectivity issues occur.
